Our Meetings
As you can see from our programme, our evening meetings include serious and light-hearted topics, with guest speakers from outside the group. There are also opportunities for members to promote their own services. Each evening meeting begins and ends with time for networking and many women find it an invaluable forum to meet new friends and forge business contacts.

Once you become a member of Women in Business, you are welcome to attend any regional meetings in the network. Women in Business groups around the South East are influencing business throughout the UK. Why not come along to one of our meetings and see what it's all about?

Diary of Events
Evening meetings are usually held at the Bridge Wardens' College in Chatham's Historic Dockyard (map here) on the first Wednesday of each month, meeting at 7.00pm for a 7.15pm start with a light buffet and networking before the speaker at 8pm. Prospective members and their guests are very welcome.

Wednesday 7 April - Diana Lock, Programme Manager for ReMaDe Kent and Medway. - All about recycling

Wednesday 5 May - Alyson Howard, Chief Executive of Institute of Directors, Kent Branch - Alyson has recently been appointed as Chief Executive of this prestigious organisation, and will talk on ‘Life/work balance’

Friday 14 May - Networking Lunch - 12.30pm, tba

Wednesday 2 June – Lynn Collier - on the work of Demelza House Children’s Hospice

June – Royal Ascot - Coach trip to Royal Ascot. Royal Ascot is being moved in 2005 to York so take advantage of this outing and wear a wonderful hat!

Wednesday 7 July – Mr Peter Jones, Consultant - Mr Jones is making a return visit to talk on “Modern Management of Breast Cancer”.

Wednesday 1 September – Antiques Valuations - Is there cash in your attic? Are you a serious bargain hunter? Mr Bill Lucas of Medway Auctions will be happy to value your treasure. Be sure to put the date in your diary – one item per person.

Monday 13 September – Networking lunch

Wednesday 6 October – Colour and Style - Frances Coppola will be presenting ideas for colour, style, accessories and makeup - for business and leisure.

Wednesday 3 November – Anita Ralph who is a Medical Herbalist - Herbal medicine and something practical!

Wednesday 1 December – to be arranged but it will be something Christmassy!
